Acronym Guide to Earning Online

Just a quick guide for those who find trouble understanding the different acronyms.

PTC - Literally stands for Pay-to-Click. It usually used for clicking ads and banners

PTR - Paid-to-Read, usually for email programs

GPT - Get-Paid-to requires you to perform certain activities before you get payment

Aurora Sites - Sites that don't have fixed rate per ad

PTP - Paid-to-Promote are incentives to earn through promoting your referral link. It's a two-way road, you earn from unique visits on a 24-hr period, plus a possible referral if they signed up under you

PTJ/PTSU - Paid-to-Join or Paid to Sign-Up is one way site owners can get referrals for their own PTC account earnings by giving you an incentive to join a particular site they are endorsing

CPM - Cost per 1,000 impression usually pertains wherein an advertiser pays a certain amount for a thousand unique impressions/views
